Havenwoods State Forest

Havenwoods State Forest is at 6141 N. Hopkins St. Tread a path on foot or via bicycle on more than 6 miles of nature trails through grasslands, wetlands and a forest on the park's 237 acres. Cross-country skiers may traverse 2.5 miles of snow-covered trails in the winter. The habitats are home to a wide variety of birds, butterflies and wildflowers; trail maps and wildlife lists are available at the Environmental Awareness Center. An urban arboretum and garden areas are on the property.
