This longstanding and locally popular restaurant is known for its unusual sod roof and the goats that regularly graze on it. The noteworthy food includes a wide variety of traditional dishes, including Swedish pancakes served with lingonberries, yummy house-made syrup and Wisconsin butter. Breakfast is available all day. The menu also includes broiled Norwegian salmon, homemade Swedish meatballs and pickled herring. Most meals come with a basket of Swedish limpa bread and lingonberries. The waitresses dress the part in colorful and traditional Scandinavian garb.
