AAA Inspector Notes
This longstanding and locally popular restaurant is known for its unusual sod roof and the goats that regularly graze on it. The noteworthy food includes a variety of traditional dishes, including Swedish pancakes served with lingonberries, yummy house-made syrup and Wisconsin butter. Breakfast is available all day. The menu also includes broiled Norwegian salmon, homemade Swedish meatballs and pickled herring. Most meals come with a basket of Swedish limpa bread. The waitresses dress the part in colorful and traditional Scandinavian garb. This place is extremely busy, so if you want to be sure to get a table, go early for breakfast. The lunch crowd is normally large and your wait could be up to an hour to get a table.
