Wisconsin Maritime Museum

Wisconsin Maritime Museum is off I-43 exit 152, 4 mi. e. on US 10, then 1 mi. s. to 75 Maritime Dr. The museum's 12 galleries are dedicated to the maritime heritage of the Great Lakes region and the submarine culture of the area. Operate a steam engine, learn how ships navigate through locks, view life in a re-created 19th-century shipbuilding town and tour a restored World War II submarine, the USS Cobia, which is docked at the museum.

In the Children’s Waterways Room, youngsters can build model boats to navigate through miniature rivers and locks.

Allow 2 hours minimum for the museum, 1 hour additional for the submarine.
