Historic Trails West

Historic Trails West departs from the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, 1501 N. Poplar St. The tour features a wagon train that travels along the actual ruts of the Oregon, California, Mormon and Pony Express trails. Visitors also can take an excursion where they ride horses as Pony Express riders did alongside the wagons. Historical accounts are given. Dutch-oven cookouts and overnight, 3- and 5-day expeditions also are available.
