Fort Fetterman State Historic Site

Fort Fetterman State Historic Site is 7 mi. n.w. via SR 93 from I-25 exit 140 at 752 SR 93. The site preserves the fort's restored officers' quarters and an ordnance warehouse. Built in 1867, the fort was once a major Army supply post for the troops sent to subdue Native American uprisings. A museum contains exhibits depicting the history of the military and Fetterman City. Period rooms, weapons, artifacts and clothing are displayed.
