Wyoming Frontier Prison

Wyoming Frontier Prison is at 500 W. Walnut St. The prison replaced the territorial prison in Laramie in 1901 and operated until 1981. A 1-hour guided tour includes three cell blocks, a cafeteria, an exercise yard, visiting rooms, a gas chamber and the death house. Three museums and a walking path also are on the premises.
