AAA Editor Notes
Mammoth Hot Springs is near the park headquarters at the north entrance. The springs are characterized by terrace-like formations created by limestone deposits. Well-marked trails and boardwalks allow the safe viewing of the formations at close range.

Note: Visitors must stay on the marked trails and boardwalks at all times, since in many places the thin crust is dangerous.
