Zacatecas Cable Car

Zacatecas Cable Car (Teleférico), next to the Hotel Baruk Teleférico y Mina, can be reached from Mex. 45 to Paseo Diaz Ordaz, following signs. Built by Swiss engineers, this cable car system connects the hills Cerro de la Bufa and Cerro Grillo, spanning the northern section of the city. The journey takes 8 minutes, covers a distance of 2,100 feet and overlooks Zacatecas from varying heights. The two enclosed cars hold up to 15 passengers. Parking is available at either end of the run.
