AAA Inspectors evaluate hotels year-round to determine Diamond-designations and to ensure that hotels are clean. They use a technology called ATP surface testing. The CDC recognizes ATP as an objective way to measure cleanliness, and it’s how we know that all AAA Diamond-designated hotels are Inspected Clean.
