AAA Inspector 10: I find this hotel with its whimsical yellow plastic penguins, numerous pictures of camels and "breathing chandelier" a fun-loving experience.
Public areas have permanent and rotating exhibits of contemporary art, much of which is self-consciously avant-garde. Rooms have a clean, minimalist luxury décor. Bathrooms have Rookwood tile showers. The hotel has a playful aura. Elevator landings have art vitrines with each floor having a unique exhibit. Electric yellow penguins populate public areas and have even been known to move into guest rooms. A counterpoint to all these modern features may be found in the corner suites, which are adorned with window blinds that feature historic daguerreotypes of the 19th century Cincinnati waterfront. Another traditional feature may be found in the restaurant, which has an impressive flaming brick hearth that would have been a perfect feature for a 19th century Ohio stagecoach tavern. After dinner, go up to the rooftop bar for drinks and a splendid view of downtown Cincinnati. You will not be bored in this hotel.
AAA Inspector 555: The unique and whimsical artwork and exhibits throughout the public areas make this one of my favorite hotels to walk through.
This contemporary hotel offers a variety of guest rooms, ranging from suites to extended-stay living. A modern art theme throughout includes custom pieces donated from the Indianapolis Museum of Art. AAA Inspector 40: Since 1893, weddings have occurred in the Imperial Ballroom with its lavish ceilings, vintage chandeliers and Victorian art. This place impresses me!
Built in 1893 by Milwaukee industrialist Guido Pfister, this landmark hotel is now home to a collection of Victorian art. Rooms have plush bathrobes, lighted makeup mirrors and elegant bed linens. The hotel will coordinate art tours and has a revolving art collection that is always on display.
AAA Inspector 40: The Gold Coast District offers so much for me to see and do with its notable restaurants, boutiques and the very popular Oak Street Beach.
This hotel presents a stylish lobby with plush sofa seating, a fireplace and an inviting bar. The upscale guest bathrooms feature a separated tub and shower design with outstanding rain shower heads.
AAA Inspector 563: The private beach is fantastic! I enjoy spending leisurely afternoons here soaking up some rays while listening to music or reading a good book.
This attractive resort hotel features modern guest rooms with an upscale bedding package, a spacious exercise room and well-designed pool areas with comfortable furnishings, cabanas and fire pits. The hotel also offers one of the best private beaches in town, featuring boat and jet ski rentals. The outdoor heated pool stays open year-round.
