AAA Inspector 31: I find myself just wanting to sit and reflect on the elegant craftsmanship and architectural details of this must-see lobby.
This landmark hotel in the heart of the city offers many upscale appointments. Most guest rooms have pillow-top or memory-foam mattresses and a few have custom-made 8-foot king-size beds. Ornate, molded-plaster ceilings, Austrian crystal chandeliers, Italian marble floors and Circassian walnut woodwork from Russia are among the standout decorative elements of this 1912 hotel.
AAA Inspector 31: I snicker when I note my pet's name on our reservation. Upon arrival, my furry companion is given some well-deserved special attention.
A complimentary nightly wine and beer tasting by the living room fireplace is a tradition at this creatively decorated hotel. One floor houses hypoallergenic rooms. Most guest rooms are larger than normal and all feature an eclectic décor with bright colors and a bird-themed wallpaper that is sure to make you smile.
AAA Inspector 31: Located on an upper floor of this historic building in a light-filled atrium area, I find this upscale lobby with trendy artwork to be a hidden gem.
Within walking distance of many downtown destinations, this luxury hotel occupies the upper floors of the landmark Meier & Frank Building. The public areas house a world-class contemporary art collection. Guest rooms are refined and classically chic.
AAA Inspector 87: I love the convenient location near so many restaurants and shops.
