Whether you're a fan of al fresco dining or looking for fun things to do on a road trip with Spot, AAA inspectors have you covered. Over the years, AAA inspectors have traveled widely and shared their expertise. Here are some of their recommendations for pet-friendly places, many of which also feature outdoor dining. AAA Inspector 596: I find this to be the perfect spot to enjoy a cold beer, good food and the company of my dog out on the patio.
This pub features a full array of draft beers, and dogs are welcome to join diners outside on the patio. Enjoy live music and great food as well. The menu features items such as bacon-wrapped jalapeños, the "Duke" burger, a turkey melt and pizza. If you have a sweet tooth, try the "Mud Island" torte.

If you are looking for a place to unwind, this restaurant is the perfect spot. The patio resembles a quiet backyard. The artichoke dip and skewered bacon and Brussels sprouts are great starters. Seasonal dishes may include veggie or meat lasagna, wild fish of the day with polenta and roasted rib chop with a hard-cider glaze. Wine paring is a highlight and the knowledgeable staff is spot on with their suggestions. Gluten-free and dairy-free items are available.
