The atmosphere is upbeat and lively at this vibrant eatery. Complimentary chips and fresh-made salsa start off the meal. For an added treat, order the tableside guacamole to go with the chips. B-Line Diner
Orlando, Florida
AAA Inspector Rating
AAA Inspector 591: Diners are one of my favorite spots to grab a meal. This one has great food, an upbeat vibe and, another of my favorites, 50's background music.
The popular, upbeat hotel diner serves American comfort foods 24-hours a day. When you have a hankering for a bite to eat then just “b-line” it here. The narrow, L-shape dining room features a more upscale appeal than your typical diner. Of course, there's counter seating that overlooks the grill area. You can sit here, get chummy with the cooks and watch them prepare your food while you wait. The menu features diner favorites like omelets, burgers, sandwiches and tempting desserts.

The BOATHOUSE Waterfront Dining
Lake Buena Vista, Florida
AAA Inspector Rating
AAA Inspector 591: The great win-win relationship between location and cuisine keeps me coming back time and again.
The restaurant is located on the waterfront and is decorated with restored boats and motors that are creatively placed around the restaurant. A beautifully restored Chris Craft adorns the main dining room while the dockside bar displays 16 restored boats built from the 1940s to the 1960s. The menu is just as interesting as the décor with P.E.I. steamed mussels, baked crab-stuffed lobster, shrimp and Andouille macaroni and cheese, and Oscar-style filet mignon. Desserts are tempting and include a root beer float, lemon sorbet and triple chocolate layer cake.

Everglades Restaurant
Orlando, Florida
AAA Inspector Rating
AAA Inspector 591: As a huge fan of desserts, I lucked out here. The dessert cart is fabulously loaded! I opted for three of the mini samplers, each was delish!
Stepping into the restaurant, patrons admire lifelike replicas of the flora and fauna of the Florida Everglades. The colorful large aquarium is also a sight to be enjoyed. Keeping with the local theme, the menu offers specialty foods native to Florida. Start with the signature soup, alligator bay chowder, before moving on to your entree selection. The buffalo tenderloin and Thai curry seafood are both highly recommended. Other menu options include filet mignon, pork chops and Florida grouper. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Florida Everglades conservation fund.
