POINT OF INTEREST

Krog Street Market

99 Krog St. NE, Inman Park, Atlanta, Georgia

Housed in a restored cast iron stove factory, Krog Street Market is a colorful food hall in the heart of the Inman Park neighborhood. Stalls showcase southern and international cuisine, featuring artisan food, local bakeries, produce, and gourmet specialties. A ‘living room’ offers a communal space for you to dine and relax.

The food hall lies along the Atlanta BeltLine, a pedestrian-friendly public outdoor space circling the city center. You can easily explore the Beltline by bike or on foot, as part of a historic walking tour or even a Segway excursion. If you prefer to keep it local, consider checking out Inman Park before stopping for a bite to eat—it’s a historic neighborhood with hip cafes, wine bars, and restaurants. The market is a signature stop on lots of Atlanta food tours, too.

  • There’s plenty of parking for cars and bikes—and an electric car charging station.
  • Check the website for special events like dinner and a movie nights.
  • Sadly, pets are not allowed in the market.

Krog Street Market is in the heart of the Inman Park neighborhood east of downtown. It’s just off the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail between Edgewood and Irwin streets. Coming from downtown, the MARTA Blue Line stops at the Inman Park/Reynoldstown Station

The market is open daily from the early morning until late evening, although some food stalls can have different business hours. Expect crowds on Saturday afternoons and evenings—visit through noon or after 8pm to avoid them.

The Krog Street Market is a stone’s throw from the Eastside Trail, a leg of the Atlanta BeltLine, an ambitious urban planning project comprising 22 miles (35 kilometers) of footpaths for bikers, runners, and walkers. The project transforms former rail tracks into urban trails connecting green spaces with historically divided neighborhoods while making public transit more accessible. The Eastside Trail runs north from the market past the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum and Historic Fourth Ward Park to Piedmont Park in Midtown.
