Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum is at 7910 Park Ave. A 46-foot-long mural demonstrating how flora and fauna change through 10 different ecosystems weaves through the museum. Interactive exhibits allow visitors to drive a shrimping boat, practice oyster-tonging and view models of boats. Other exhibits demonstrate fishing and trapping industries. A 13.5-foot-long alligator is displayed. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
