Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park

Big Kahuna’s Water & Adventure Park is located at 1007 US-98, nearly 3 miles (4.8km) east of the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Bus route #32 stops at the entrance, on-site parking costs $5, and rideshares service the park. You can see the waterslides and mini golf from Highway 98. Remember that The Track nearby also has mini golf, so use the vivid, multi-colored Alvin’s Island souvenir shop across from Big Kahuna’s as a waypoint.

Even though Big Kahuna’s is in the Sunshine State, its northern location in Destin means it’s not open year-round. The park is crowded during the summer and when it opens during Spring Break. The best time to visit the adventure park is earlier in the day before the heat gets high, then spend the hottest part of the day in the waterpark to avoid overheating.

U.S. Highway 98 is the main throughway running through Destin and your pathway to unforgettable family fun.
