Glacier Park Boat Co. departs from Lake McDonald, Many Glacier, Rising Sun and Two Medicine. The company offers scenic cruises aboard classic wooden boats that have plied the lakes here since the park's early days. Narrated trips offer views of wilderness areas, glacial formations, waterfalls and rugged cliffs. Tours last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours. Guided hikes also are available. Canoes, rowboats, kayaks, paddleboards and motorboats can be rented at Apgar late May through Aug. 31. Rowboats and motorboats can be rented at Lake MacDonald Lodge late May through late September. Rowboats, kayaks and canoes can be rented at Two Medicine early June through Labor Day and at Many Glacier early June through late September.
