MGM Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
3799 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, 89109
The largest hotel in the world when it opened in 1993, the MGM Grand is a Las Vegas mainstay known for its green façade and original “old Hollywood” theme. It’s one of the busiest hotels on the Strip with thousands of rooms and dozens of restaurants, bars, and live entertainment venues.
The Basics
MGM Grand’s top attraction is its MGM Grand Garden Arena, which has been hosting Vegas’ biggest events since the mid-’90s. Professional boxing championships are often the most sought-after tickets, but college sports, award shows, and concerts by major stars like Carrie Underwood also take place there. Additional entertainment at the hotel includes the magic of David Copperfield, the Cirque du Soleil show “KA,” and Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club.
Drinking and dining are in no short supply at MGM Grand, with nightclubs that host renowned DJs like Calvin Harris, the Wet Republic Ultra Pool (often part of Vegas pool party passes), and the Michelin 3-star Joël Robuchon restaurant.
