My stay was simply for a place to rest and go right back to work at the hospital for a three night stay. Check in took a long time, booked through and paid for via AAA app. The walk to the room was two buildings over, which the hotel clerk failed to mention. The room key unlocked the door but door wouldn't open. Called the front desk 8 times and put on hold. Finally kicked the door hard enough that it opened. If you are planning for breakfast before leaving for work, they do not offer it until 7am, not what was advertised, so plan accordingly if you are working in healthcare. If you are looking for a restful place between long shifts at the hospital, I would not recommend. Go for the local Air BNBs!

Very old hotel. Smelled of mold the moment you walked into the room, the bathroom did not have a fan so the room was full of steam. When showering. The bathtub dripped water and no matter what my was tried nothing worked. There were pools of water dripping from the ice machines so there was standing water in the that area. Key cards worked once then not again. I would not recommend this at all! I wouldn’t give this any higher than a one star rating. Definitely NOT up to typical AAA standards!

Sadly, our room was smelly, old and not quite clean. Bathroom counter was very short, more like what would have been in a kindergarten bathroom. I'm short and it was too short for even me! We stayed only one night and had 6 planned. When we checked in we were told it was one of their "good" rooms. Not so. We had been told they had remodeled the rooms, but that was certainly not correct. However, if the owner, whoever that is, completes a full restoration, this location would be outstanding for all the development along the Ohio River front. A wise business would absolutely make this place a showcase. Until then, we will not return.
