Compact rooms offer cute, minimalistic décor with vinyl flooring, a tiny desk and open hanging rack. The space is perfect for guests who travel light and don't need a lot of frills. Every room has comfortable bedding and a large, wall-mounted TV. The bright bathrooms are a bit more spacious and almost all are shower-only. If you require a bathtub, be sure to make that request when making your reservation. The lobby doubles as a hangout space, with 24-hour coffee service, a pool table and lots of work spaces outfitted with charging stations. In the small fitness center, you'll find modern cardio and weight training equipment. Complimentary breakfast is served daily in the lobby. This was our first experience with Tru. We frequently stay in Hilton properties and Tru offered the best rate. Common areas were bright and contemporary, with ample seating and color. Staff was consistently upbeat, efficient, and friendly. The room was rather cramped for two people (compared to a recent stay in the Leesburg, VA, Hampton, for example), but clean and pleasant, providing toiletries and sufficient amenities for our stay. We would consider Tru again and enjoyed our stay.
