SCENIC BYWAY

Missouri's Crowley's Ridge Scenic Parkway

15.0 miles: 0 hours, 19 minutes

Missouri’s Crowley’s Ridge Scenic Parkway is a short jog through rural southeast Missouri. The two-lane highway creeps through small towns and by many farms growing cotton, peas and watermelon as well as a peach orchard or two. Morris State Park preserves a section of Crowley’s Ridge—a low, wooded hill parallel to the byway.

Travelers shouldn’t be in a hurry on this country drive through the Missouri Bootheel. Missouri’s Crowley’s Ridge Scenic Parkway is a short route, and the speed limit on the highway never gets too high, especially when driving through towns. Enjoy the agrarian landscape and manicured lawns that frame the houses along the highway.
