Overview
These rentals are recommended for those in good physical shape. First, get your local trail guide's advice on what alpine lakes to float on with packrafts. You'll receive a topo map of the Bitterroot Mountains with over 10 annotated routes to choose from for your adventure. On the day your rental, you'll meet the trail guide at a local place (WinCo) in Missoula or Hamilton, who will set you up with your full day kit, including everything you'll need to float on a peaceful alpine lake in the Bitterroot or Lolo National Forest. Recreate responsibly and safely with bear spray and first aid, both provided in this day kit. As a bonus, read our recommendations on other sightseeing destinations in the valley! At the end of your trip, return the entire kit back at the WinCo parking lot!
