- Skip-the-Line Access: While you can skip the ticket line, please allow extra time to go through security, especially during busy periods.
- Unexpected Closures: Sometimes, St. Peter’s Basilica or the Sistine Chapel may close unexpectedly. In this case, we’ll extend your time in the Vatican Museums, but partial refunds aren’t available.
- During periods of Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel will be closed to the public without prior notice due to the Papal Conclave (election of a new Pope). As this is a decision made by the Vatican, access to the Sistine Chapel is not guaranteed during these times. No refunds or discounts will be issued in the event of such closures.
- Restricted Items: Items such as weapons, glass, sharp objects, food, and alcohol aren’t allowed inside for security reasons.
- ID Requirements: Your booking name must match your government-issued ID, which is required for entry. Different tickets apply to adults and minors, so please book accurately.
- Dress Code: Please ensure your knees and shoulders are covered to enter the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Entry may be denied if you don’t follow this dress code.
- Not recommended for individuals with mobility limitations
