Overview
Discover the beauty of Nevada County on this private day tour for up to 4 adults. Your experience begins with pickup at 9:30 a.m. from your hotel, Airbnb, or campground, followed by a scenic drive to Edwards Crossing. From there, enjoy a moderate 25 to 35 minute hike to a beautiful Yuba River waterfall area, where you’ll relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy a picnic lunch. Vegan and gluten free lunch options are available. In warm months, strong swimmers may have time for a refreshing swim before the hike back. After the river, enjoy a scenic drive into historic downtown Nevada City, where you can stop for famous hand churned ice cream or wine tasting. Then continue with a walk on the Deer Creek Tribute Trail. To finish the day, head to historic downtown Grass Valley for shopping and an optional dinner at places such as The Holbrooke or Kaido. Dinner, ice cream, and wine are not included.
