Though first settled by French Huguenots, Strasburg evolved into a community of German immigrants in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The town is noted for its quaint atmosphere; the availability of Amish food and arts and crafts; and its many railroad exhibits, both model and real. The Lancaster County Art Association , 149 Precision Ave. next to Strasburg Public Library, presents rotating exhibits of local artists' works. Classes, events and workshops are presented throughout the year. The gallery is open Thurs.-Sat. 11-4 and Sun. 1-4 except for major holidays and between Christmas and New Year's Day; phone (717) 687-7061. Learn More...
