The Economic Development and Tourism Information Centre's offices are in the house in which 1920s film star Marie Dressler was born. The offices contain Dressler memorabilia and life-size wax figures of Miss Dressler and co-star Wallace Beery.

A farmers market featuring locally grown produce operates 8 to 1 on Saturday, May through December, at 2nd and Albert sts.; for information phone the tourism office.
