Fort Frances

La Verendrye Parkway, on the waterfront along Rainy River, features a walkway, a bicycle path and pavilions for picnicking. Another scenic option is Noden Causeway, 7 kilometres (4 mi.) east of Fort Frances on Hwy. 11. The 5.6-kilometre (3.5-mi.) causeway over Rainy Lake consists of three bridges that skip over several islands. Moose, deer, bears and fish are plentiful in this area.
