York-Durham Heritage Railway offers sightseeing excursions to Stouffville in 1920s and 1950s railway cars. Trips depart from a restored 1904 depot on Spruce Street at 10 and 2:30 on Sundays in June-Oct. and during special events; phone (905) 852-3696.
Seven area trails provide unlimited opportunities for hiking, bicycling and pleasure walking. The Trans-Canada Trail intersects with the Oak Ridge Moraine Trail just south of Uxbridge.
