Every spring it becomes the calving grounds of Porcupine caribous that arrive after a long, difficult migration from the south and west. From mid-June to early July the park offers 5-day, catered base camp trips led by Parks Canada staff and Inuvialuit cultural hosts. The only access to the park is by air. Phone (867) 777-8800.
