Petoskey
Fishing in Little Traverse Bay and area rivers and lakes yields bass, blue gill, lake and rainbow trout, perch, salmon and walleye. A number of scenic drives can be enjoyed in the other seasons: The lakeshore routes along US 31 west through Charlevoix then south to Traverse City and SR 119 north through Harbor Springs to Cross Village are particularly enjoyable. Closer to town, US 131 and Walloon Lake Drive provide a pleasant loop.
