Bluffton
The wooden, Gothic-style Church of the Cross , on Calhoun Street, was built in 1857 and has survived the onslaught of Union soldiers, hurricanes and modern development.

Charming Old Town Bluffton—centered between Boundary and Heyward streets and Bluffton Parkway and Bridge Street—is a good place for a casual afternoon of window-shopping. The historic district offers antique shops, locally owned boutiques, art galleries and cafés.More than 60 apparel, home and specialty stores, including Coach, DKNY Donna Karan New York, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren and Seiko, comprise Tanger Outlet Center, which is off I-95 exit 8 then about 15 miles east on US 278. The centers are at 1256 Fording Island Rd. and 1414 Fording Island Rd.
