On Wednesdays from June through August, the public areas of the Governor's Mansion are available for touring. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance; for information phone the chamber of commerce.
The Missouri River affords outstanding recreational opportunities, including boating, fishing and hunting, at such locations as Farm Island State Recreation Area and Lake Oahe.
