North Bend
Mountains have influenced local architecture, much of which sports an alpine motif. Rising nearby is 4,167-foot Mount Si (pronounced “sigh”); a 4-mile trail to the summit ascends 3,500 feet and offers spectacular views. Linking with the 2-mile Rattlesnake Ledge Trail, the 8.8-mile Rattlesnake Mountain Trail provides views of Mount Si, North Bend and the Snoqualmie River Valley. The early 1990s TV series “Twin Peaks” was filmed in North Bend and neighboring Snoqualmie.
