POINT OF INTEREST

AACA Museum, Inc.

161 Museum Drive, Hershey, Pennsylvania

Explore more than a century of American automotive history, from the 1890s to the 2000s, at the AACA Museum. Located in Hershey, Penn., the AACA Museum features a collection of more than 150 vintage vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles, around 85 to 100 of which are on display at any given time.

Explore three floors of restored historic vehicles and memorabilia, displayed as if on a cross-country trip from New York to San Francisco. The collection includes the world’s largest collection of Tucker vehicles. Highlights include 1895 Chicago Motor Benton Harbor, two 1917 Pierce-Arrows, and a 1977 Chrysler Cordoba, but vehicles rotate so there's always something new to see. Don’t miss the interactive, custom model train display in the basement or the portable diner with functioning jukeboxes.

  • The museum is a must-visit for car lovers.

  • Check the signage to see if you can touch each vehicle.

  • Tickets can be booked in advance for convenience.

  • Bring change (quarters and dimes) to play music in the jukebox.

  • There’s a vending area with snacks and drinks for purchase.

  • The museum is wheelchair accessible.

The museum is located in central Pennsylvania, in Hershey. Driving is the best way to get there. Parking is available on-site. The museum offers charging stations for Teslas and electric vehicles.

The museum is open daily, year-round, with holiday closures for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. The museum is occasionally closed for private functions. Check the schedule to avoid disappointment. Most visitors spend around one to two hours here, or longer for the true car enthusiast.

Car enthusiasts can check out a number of other auto museums in central and eastern Pennsylvania, including the oldest car museum in America, the Swigart Museum in Huntingdon; America on Wheels Museum in Allentown; Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs; and Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles.
