LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester

39 Fitzgerald Street, Yonkers, New York

Dedicated to everyone’s favorite Danish building block, the LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester is open to children 17 and younger, and their adult guardians. The center has a variety of themed rides and activities, and gives you the chance to pedal through the sky in Merlin's Apprentice; meet Lego characters in the 4K theater; and peek at pint-sized replicas of New York City landmarks in MINILAND.

LEGOLAND offers many different types of admission tickets, from standard entry to packages that include a virtual reality experience and digital photos. Die-hard Lego fans can buy an annual pass. The center doesn’t offer guided tours, as it's easy to explore on your own, but special workshops and events are available for birthday parties or homeschooled kids. The center is also a popular spot for school field trips.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester is part of the New York Pass, which grants pass-holders discounted entry to more than 100 New York City area attractions—without the hassle of buying admission tickets separately. The Empire State Building Observatory, Madame Tussauds, the Guggenheim Museum, and many other blockbuster sights are included.

  • Sorry, grown-up Lego fans: Adults aren’t allowed in LEGOLAND unless they’re accompanying children. There are exclusive adults-only nights hosted throughout the year.

  • No outside food or drinks are allowed into LEGOLAND unless they’re for babies or children with dietary allergies. There is an on-site café offering refreshments, freshly prepared foods, and snacks.

  • For families with infants and toddlers, family bathrooms with diaper-changing facilities are available. All of LEGOLAND is stroller-friendly.

  • 20% military discounts off the walk-up admission price are available for each person with a valid military ID, plus five other guests.

  • Leashed service animals are welcome in LEGOLAND, and all attractions and restrooms are wheelchair-accessible. Guests with vision or hearing impairments can request additional services, including scripts of the 4K films.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is inside the Ridge Hill Mall in Yonkers, New York. If you’re arriving by car, you’ll find multiple parking garages nearby, and LEGOLAND offers two hours of free parking. If coming by train from New York City, take the Metro North Hudson Line to Yonkers then Bus 78 to Ridge Hill.

To ensure the best visitor experience, entry is timed. You can reserve the day and time of your choice online in advance. You can also buy a ticket on the day. LEGOLAND offers extended evening hours on weekends, giving you more options when reserving tickets. To avoid peak crowds, be the first to arrive.

Once a private estate, this sprawling 46-acre (18-hectare) park is now a public garden. It’s a great place to relax or take a stroll and unwind after a high-energy visit to LEGOLAND. Special family-friendly ticketed tours are on Sundays from April through October. You can also partake in outdoor yoga sessions, mycologist-led mushroom walks, bird-watching outings, and other special events with advanced reservations. General admission to the gardens is free.
