POINT OF INTEREST

Reunion Tower

300 Reunion Blvd. East, Dallas, Texas

Located in the heart of downtown Dallas, Reunion Tower has been a city landmark since 1978. Referred to affectionately as “The Ball” by locals, the tower offers sweeping panoramic views from the only indoor/outdoor observation deck in the city, plus high-definition telescopes and cameras, interactive exhibits, and two rotating restaurants.

Located 470 feet (143 meters) above sea level, the tower’s GeO-Deck affords both indoor and outdoor 360-degree views of Dallas. Learn more about the city’s many iconic landmarks and attractions from the interactive Halo touch kiosks, and zoom in on sights using the high-definition telescopes on the outdoor deck and zoom cameras on the inner deck. Grab lunch or attend a special event at the Cloud Nine Cafe above the observation deck. Or enjoy fine dining at the top-level Five Sixty.

A number of Reunion Tower ticket options are available, including single visit, day and night pass, and romantic date night packages. Discounted entry is also included as part of select multi-attraction passes.

  • Reunion Tower is ideal for first-time visitors to Dallas.

  • Guided Reunion Tower tours include a 30-minute tour and 30 minutes of exploration time on the GeO-Deck.

  • Don’t forget your camera to capture the panoramic views of the city from GeO-Deck.

  • Reunion Tower is wheelchair accessible.

  • Strollers are not permitted on GeO-Deck.

  • Visitors must purchase GeO-Deck admission to access Cloud Nine Cafe.

Reunion Tower is located in the heart of downtown Dallas. Union Station on DART Rail is across the street. For those driving, valet parking is available on-site, and self-parking is a short distance away.

Reunion Tower is open daily, year-round, with the exception of Christmas Day. Opt for a clear day for the best views. Time your visit to just before sunset to watch as the sun sinks below the horizon and then see the Dallas skyline light up after dark.

Besides Reunion Tower, the top places for a great view of Dallas include the Sky Lobby at Chase Tower, Winfrey Point in Klyde Warren Park, Trinity Overlook, SODA Bar, Bar Belmont, and NYLO Dallas South Side.

The nearest parking lot to Reunion Tower is just a few minutes away, at 601 Sports St. Dallas. For up to four hours, it costs $10. If you stay at the Hyatt Regency hotel, you can enjoy valet parking or find disabled parking at 300 Reunion Tower Boulevard.

There are 837 steps leading to the top of the Reunion Tower, which is 560 feet (170 meters) high. At the top of the tower, there are an extra three floors—the observation deck is on the lowest floor. You’ll be relieved to know an elevator whisks you to the top, so you won’t have to take the stairs.

Reunion Tower operates a casual, family-friendly dress code for the Geo-Deck; however, you won't be let in if you’re not wearing a shirt or shoes. The dress code is smart for the Crown Block fine-dining restaurant at the top, which serves steak and seafood; no athletic wear or flip-flops are allowed.

Yes, you can bring food into the Reunion Tower Geo-Deck, but not into the fine dining Crown Block restaurant on the higher level. You can also bring plastic or metal water bottles, but not glass bottles. Other prohibited items include guns, oversized luggage, and cans of spray paint.

No, you can’t bring a stroller to the Geo-Deck at the Reunion Tower due to fire safety codes. You can leave it at the secure stroller parking down at the security area, and you’re welcome to carry your child in removable infant carriers or wearables.

Yes, the Reunion Tower is entirely accessible—it provides a barrier-free experience if you use a wheelchair or other mobility device. Thanks to the elevator to each level, you can easily access each floor. Plus, disabled parking is available nearby, and there are accessible toilets on the Geo-Deck.
