Welcome to Bayfront Resort at Cross View, a luxury RV and cottage resort located along the shores of the stunning Sandusky Bay. Thank you for an amazing first year and for voting us the #1 Campground in the Firelands Region for 2023.
SOLAR ECLIPSE - we are on the center of the path of totality for the April 8, 2024 total eclipse! We will announce our events leading up to the eclipse very soon. Each site will receive a goodie bag with solar eclipse glasses, treats, and more. Reserve your RV site or cottage today for the Solar Eclipse!
Our resort features 10 fully furnished cottages and 39 concrete RV sites with full hook-ups to accommodate RVs up to 40’. The cottage homes sleep up to 6 adults and include a bedroom, bunk beds, loft, full kitchen, laundry and a full bath. While staying at the resort, enjoy our heated pool, modern clubhouse, and convenient laundry facility. Also, you can’t miss the panoramic view of the Sandusky Bay and Cedar Point!

About our location:
Sandusky was recently voted the #1 Best Coastal Small Town in USA Today. This is the second time in the past 4 years that Sandusky has won this honor! There are many great shops, restaurants, and activities is downtown Sandusky. Then you can head down route 250/Milan Road, and you will find the Sandusky Mall, larger department stores, fast food, restaurants, movie theater, and much more! Our location is also close to these key attractions:
1.5 miles to downtown Sandusky (including ferries to the Put-in Bay and Kellys Island)
1.9 miles to Castaway Bay Waterpark

Check In Time: 1PM | Check in for RV Site reservations begins at 1 PM. Check in for Cottage reservations begins at 3 PM. For possible late accommodations, please contact the resort directly prior to 6 PM.

Rules
Modify/Canceling your Reservation
General Cancellation Policy: All reservations are due in full at time of booking. If a reservation is canceled prior to 14 days of check-in, a full refund will be issued. Reservations canceled between 7 and 14 days will receive a 50% refund and cancellations under 7 days will receive no refund. PLEASE NOTE: For reservations booked through Oakwood Lodging or those receiving a special group rate, cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to check-in to receive a full refund. Pet fees are charged at the time of your reservation and are non-refundable. Failure to pay pet fees at time of reservation will result in a 2x fee penalty. Early departures are not entitled to a refund. Reservations are held until 11:59pm the day of your scheduled check-in on a single day reservation or 11:59pm on the second day after your scheduled check-in on a multi-day reservation. If you are arriving after 8:00pm, please call us at 419-502-2555. (Arrangements must be made to gain entry into the resort after 8:00pm.) If you have not contacted us by phone to advise of your arrival time, your site will be made available for rental. There are no refunds.Specific site requests or bookings are not guaranteed.
Housekeeping
Cottages are provided with linens and some housewares (see amenities for a full list). We do not provide daily cleaning. Trash disposal, towel and linen changes are made between guest stays or after three (3) nights of stay. RV guests are expected to dispose of garbage in designated areas (please do not leave at site). A $350 cleaning fee will be charged for any smoke smell removal.
Tobacco/Vaping/Cannabis
Smoking and/or Vaping is not permitted in any Cottage, pool area or inside any building or within 25 feet of such areas. Cannabis use and possession in smokeable form is prohibited on the premises, including outdoor areas. Violators are subject to immediate cancellation of their reservation and removal from the park without refund.
RV Sites
RV’s must be in good working order and condition. RV’s over 15 years old must register with management before booking. Tent camping is not permitted. Please, no stakes in the ground, clotheslines or other fixtures. No overnight exterior lighting. REMINDER: You are near the Sandusky Bay, it gets windy and weather conditions can change quickly! We recommend you place tables, chairs and all other amenities you may bring inside when leaving the property or overnight.
Pet Policy
RV Sites: 2 domestic pets are permitted. Pets must remain restrained/leashed. Please use designated pet run areas for litter/waste and pick up after your pet. Excessive barking and aggressive behavior is not permitted. Cottages: Pets are not permitted, however special accommodations can be made for registered service animals. Please contact the Resort office. Pets are not permitted in the pool area or any building.
Common Areas
Pool hours are posted by management. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. No lifeguard is on duty. Pets are not permitted in the pool area. Open fires are permitted only in designated areas. Alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted in Common Areas. Bicycle, scooter and hoverboard riding is not permitted after dark.
Courtesies
Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am. Noise, including the playing of music and televisions, should be kept to a minimum at all times so as not to disturb others or create a nuisance. We ask that you conduct yourself with decorum. Public intoxication, profanity, abusive language, threats, harm or injury to persons or property are cause for removal from our property without refund. No soliciting or advertising is permitted within the Resort. Fireworks and pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited (...by the City of Sandusky too!). Brandishing or displaying any type of weapon is strictly prohibited. Drones are not permitted within the Resort.
Parking
Each reservation is entitled to one vehicle parking space at their site. Additional vehicles will be charged. Additional vehicle parking will be in spaces designated by Resort and may not be in close proximity to your site. Please contact the Resort for parking of boats, personal watercraft or trailers that do not fit within your designated parking space.
Guests
All guests must be escorted through the security gate. Guests must park in designated areas and are prohibited from parking at other sites.
Access to Sandusky Bay and Breakwall
Please observe all posted signs. Swimming and fishing is strictly prohibited in the basin or from docks. Fishing from the breakwall on the Bay-side is permitted. Licenses are required by ODNR and are not available on site. Chairs are only permitted on the breakwall so long as they do not interfere with others’ use and enjoyment of the breakwall, including accessibility. Kayak and boat launch for paying guests of CVB is permitted at your own risk.
Privacy Policy
We will hold your reservation information private unless you specifically authorize us in writing to disclose your reservation and/or are required to disclose pursuant to a court order.
Disclaimers
We do try our best to ensure all information provided to you is accurate, including pricing, availability and amenities at our Resort. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. By accepting your reservation, you agree to all terms and conditions of your reservation and stay imposed by the Resort. You agree to hold the Resort harmless for personal inconveniences, fees, property damage, costs, or any other claim for loss or damage relating to or arising out of your reservation, stay or use of our property. You also agree to indemnify the Resort for any losses, claims, fees or damages we may incur or experience as a result of your actions or inaction. You also agree to accept responsibility for any guest at your site or accommodation.
Other Fine Print
Checking out after required time will result in being charged for an additional day at current rates. Violation of any policy, including occupancy or common courtesies will result in removal from the Resort without refund.
