Campground Overview

The Lake Hawkins RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Hawkins, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Situated right on the lake, campers can look forward to a host of excellent attractions, such as picnicking, hiking and biking, as well as fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding on the water. The lake is also extremely picturesque, and many visitors head out there at dusk for sunset viewing and stargazing. Just minutes from the park are a number of great eateries for campers to enjoy. Amenities at the park include: a boat launch, a playground, restrooms, showers, 30/50 amp sites, picnic tables, grills and water. Hope to see you soon!

Check In

Check In Time: 1PM | Check-in at the main office during working hours, or go directly to your assigned site. If you need assistance past our working hours, please contact our main office. CANCELLATION POLICY There is a 7 day cancellation policy. Cancellations must be done at least 7 full days prior to arrival date in order to get a full refund. If you need to cancel or change your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid charges. Credit card processing fee and RoverPass platform fee are nonrefundable. NO SHOWS We reserve the right to re-book your site if you are not here by 8am the following morning of your reservation.

Dump Station

Park grass LOVES grey water. Black water at Dump Station only!

Firearms

FIREARMS & FIREWORKS PROHIBITED.

Beach Policy

NO DOGS, GLASS, OR FOOD ON THE BEACH. NO Alcohol in recreation areas or on the beach.

Tents

Tents are allowed ONLY in designated areas. RV Sites are for RV guests only. Guests with an RV can also set up ONE tent (max) on their site for friends or family at the rate of $25 per night. (Pay at office for tent.)

Kids

Kids under 12 must be attended by an adult. Children have the right of way.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. No loud music at all.

Vehicle Policies

No Vehicles on grass. No 4-wheelers, go-karts, or dirtbikes. Golf carts are allowed for transportation only, NOT for play.

Swimming Policy

Swim only in designated areas.

Speed Limit

Obey speed limit law — 5 MPH at all times.

Fires

DO NOT CUT LIVE TREES. Fire must be contained in fire ring or grill. The occasional burn ban happens at the end of Summer in August or September when it's so hot outside you won't want a fire anyway. :)

Visitors

Visitors must register at the main office.

Smoking

No smoking near neighbors or in bathrooms.

Behavior

Bad attitudes will NOT be tolerated and will be asked to leave.

Pets

All dogs must be on LEASHES. Please pick up doggie doo. NO DOGS, GLASS, OR FOOD ON THE BEACH.
