Campground Overview

At Overgaard RV Resort, our goal is to not only to be your favorite place to escape the heat and the hustle of the big city, but to make the process easy and enjoyable for you. We are a full-service RV resort with a wide range of experience. We want you to feel at home in our community and we are building and improving everyday to make your vacation, Summer stay or year round residency rewarding, relaxing and fun! We take pride in our community and want you to be as proud to call it home as we are, even if you just stay a weekend.

Our excellent reputation and satisfied residents will attest to our attention to detail, clear communication, honesty and integrity and dedication to our resident's comfort, safety and overall experience. We have so much fun and enjoy the most beautiful surroundings in the State of Arizona. Most RV resorts in the area are closed for winter but we are open year round and have tenants who stay all through the year. Of course, we also love our seasonal and short term guests and their contribution to our community.

We are not right on the highway so we enjoy the sounds and sights of nature rather than the sounds of traffic. That makes us a little harder to find but if you ask us, we wouldn't have it any other way! We are tucked back in the pines with wildlife and natural beauty. We enjoy the changing of the seasons and all of the colors and divine beauty that those changes bring.

We have laundry facilities and Public showers and we also have a clubhouse with cable TV, billiards and other perks for guests and residents. Our clubhouse also serves as a meeting place for the many activities that are offered for anyone who wants to join us. Also, we have added a dedicated high speed internet connection that is being tested and perfected as we speak. It is available now for residents and guests and it is fast and reliable enough to keep you in touch while you're enjoying the peace and quiet. We've tried to think of everything but we know that there is always room for improvement. That's why we are always looking for ways to make our park better and to keep things modern, convenient and comfortable without interfering with the natural beauty of our surroundings. We know that's what brings most folks up this way and we can't help but appreciate the pines, wildlife and majestic beauty that we are so lucky to experience at our 6,500 foot elevation.

Check In

Check In Time: 3PM | If you are going to be arriving later than 6 pm or on a day that our office is closed, please give us a call so that we can plan accordingly. Upon arrival, you will need to come to the office to sign off on our rules and regulations.

Area Tips

If you are a bird lover, we have a birding area in the front of the park and our guests have identified and photographed over 20 different species of birds right here in our little community. I guess the word is out because they seem to love it here as much as we do and we welcome them. We also have other types of wildlife who we consider to be part of our community and most of them are so accustomed to sharing this space with us that they are not timid. You're sure to see some critters interacting with you or your neighbors and they are usually more than happy to pose for a picture. So bring your camera, your curiosity and your RV and join us for some peaceful, year round mountain beauty and rustic charm and the kind of peace that you can only find while communing with nature. A stay with us is a great way to relax, unwind and refresh, any time of the year!

We are within a few miles of US Forest Service Parks, Campgrounds and Fishing.

We are near hiking paths where you can ride horses, bikes or just enjoy the crisp mountain air while taking in the sights during a leisurely stroll.

Enjoy the scenery while satisfying your sense of adventure as you explore the many ATV and bicycle trails in the area!
