Most bathrooms are shower-only. A European-style breakfast buffet is available in the lobby cafe. Selections include a variety of pastries, oatmeal, and a made-to-order egg of the day. The lobby bar offers an evening menu of tapas-style snacks, perfect for a light dinner or a late-night nosh after visiting one of the many restaurants located at the hotel's doorstep. The hotel occupies the lower seven floors of a high-rise office building set amid a shopping and dining complex. Rooms with two queen beds face the parking deck. For the best views, head up to the eighth-floor fitness center where the panoramic windows show off the Charlotte skyline in the distance. The hotel was in a great location, very clean and comfortable. Parking was available at not additional fee. Our only complaint was the breakfast. the cost was a flat $19.99. If I only wanted a yogurt, or a bowl of cereal, I still had to pay the flat fee, the other options did not look very appetizing. There was a Panera within walking distance, so it worked out for us, but this may be a game changer for other guests.
