The staff was polite. The hotel and rooms were clean. It had a great view and was located near the I-10 fwy.
I have stayed at many Marriott’s over the years. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The pool area was clean and maintained. There was also ample parking. I need to say that we were NOT happy with the housekeeping service. My daughter and I were in our room watching TV around 4:00 in the afternoon when all of a sudden someone from house keeping entered our room! No knock just let herself in! We were horrified! We did not report it but in hindsight I should have contacted the management. I also would like to share a few things that we were disappointed with… 1. The mattress and pillows were on the firm side and not very comfortable. 2. We left our room at 8:00am and returned at 3:30 and our room still had not been cleaned. 3. No complementary coffee in the lobby. The only coffee available at the hotel was a 3/4 full cup of coffee at the hotel restaurant for $4.40 or you could make your own with the single serving coffee maker in your room with 1 bottle of water provided for our 4 day stay. 4. The sprayer in our shower did not work. Most of our stay was pleasant but there are definitely things Marriot could do better.
