Set on 650 acres of rolling fields, the property features a grand, Greek Revival plantation home as its centerpiece. Guest rooms, located in a separate building, are decorated in an elegant period style with hardwood floors and canopy or sleigh beds. Many rooms offer a veranda with rocking chairs overlooking the grounds. There are two romantic suites in the historic mansion and two others in cottages. A grand horseshoe staircase fills the foyer of the mansion. Formal dinners are served in the hotel's elegant salons Friday through Monday. For casual dining, guests can visit the tavern, which is open nightly. Smoke free premises. 92 units, some cottages. 2-4 stories, interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
