This hotel is a good choice if just looking for a simple night's rest and a quick dip in the swimming pool. Most guest rooms include a medium-size desk and comfortable chair. Smoke free premises. 65 units. 4 stories, interior corridors.

The hotel was well located, close to good small fast food places, access to freeways, and a historic downtown that was walkable and had terrific restaurants. The breakfast was never changed, but gave a variety choices that were in ample supply.. The coffee was great. The staff were helpful and cheery, even let me check out late while waiting for my daughter to come from Astoria. Where it fell down a bit was something that frequently happens to older women traveling alone--I was put in the smallest room, right behind the elevator. They count on us to be polite and not complain (I didn't). The Wi-Fi was occasionally very good, but more often not--giving a mixed message that I was connected, and at the site I sought said I wasn't. Luckily, I wasn't there on business.
The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious enough for what I needed. There are plenty of options for breakfast, both hot and cold. When arriving for the first time, make sure you pay attention to signage. If you don't turn left into the Best Western parking lot, you may end up at the former Motel-6/shelter next door. Those folks are super nice and will direct you to the right place. ;-)
