Attractive rooms feature comfortable bedding, task tables with seating for two, and bathrooms with vanities open to the guest room. Rocking chairs are lined up on the exterior corridors outside the room, a perfect perch to people-watch. Complimentary continental breakfast is served in the tiny lobby. We were very impressed with our stay at the Best Western Mountainbrook Inn. The room was very affordable and while the room/hotel didn’t look brand new, it was clean and inviting. The rocking chairs outside the room doors was a nice touch and appreciated. Every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly. The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. Sheets and blankets looked, felt and smelled clean. We also love having a mini fridge/microwave combo for snacks and drinks. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. The hotel was convenient to many restaurants and all the attractions we wanted to visit..the casino and Cherokee Reservation. We enjoyed seeing Elk walk around town. Our most favorite thing about staying at the Mountainbrook Inn was the free continental breakfast. It included scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, fresh fruit, oatmeal, grits, toast, bagels, a tougher machine with various yummy toppings, juice machine, good coffee, etc…..all the food was good and hearty.! We enjoyed the friendly service, attention to detail and conversation with the staff member Cherrie the most.
