Best Western Plus Heritage Inn

I would stay at this hotel again except they seem to have a lot of people who smoke inside the rooms and it comes thru the bathroom vents also. Also the walls are thin and I was awoken by the next room taking a shower at 1AM and a large cart rolling by the room at 6AM. I just can't deal with the smoke or the sprays they use to cover up the smoke.

First impression: due to its location, and I appreciated this, there were a lot of gates and pass key doors to go through. It was a little confusing to understand how to get to the A and B building from the check in desk. If you were not parked for the night by about 8pm, you would have to park in the back of the building, and it was a longer (but well lit) walk to the nearest Hotel gate to enter the compound. I used a 2nd floor stairway exit to go to my car, and truthfully, this could have been better lit. But there was a 24/7 security guard constantly walking around the property, so I felt safe at all times. That being said, my room was clean, and I was concerned because it was right next to the elevator - no problems, I did not hear it at all while I slept. I did have a problem with the TV, the maintenance staff came almost immediately, recognized the problem and moved me across the hall, where I did not have any issues with the TV thereafter. The staff was great, from my check in to asking directions, and I do have to say, the breakfast was outstanding. The breakfast area was warm and inviting, and well organized, it was very very busy when I left at 6 am on a Saturday morning, but I was in and out in a short amount of time, with a delicious take away breakfast I created myself.
