When we booked the hotel, we stated that we wanted to pay in cash. We were assured that the debit card was only to book the room. At check-in my wife and I were told that cash was not accepted. We then asked to use a hotel computer to transfer funds into our debit card and we were told that they had no computer for us to use. The microwave in our room did not work. When we reported that fact, the clerk offered to unplug and replug the unit. We were told that there was nothing else that could be done due to the holiday. When we got home there was a $25.00 hotel charge. When we called the hotel, they told us that the charge would be removed after the room had been checked for damage. The charge was removed the next day. The second and last day of our stay, a pleasant clerk told us that we could switch to another room because of the non-functioning microwave. At that point it wasn't worth the bother.
