The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance of museums, the waterfront, and downtown dining and shopping venues. Spacious guest rooms are decorated in slick slate-gray tones. The property has many of its original fixtures such as ornate marble flooring and wood-trim enhancements. Some of the light fixtures have been meticulously restored and those that were replaced replicate the originals in all aspects. The main part of the property was built in 1925 and historic pictures line the walls. If you ask the staff about the property's history, you'll hear a ghost story or two. Smoke free premises. 128 units. 8 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

We checked in at the front desk, they said our room wasn’t ready. We told them we would valet the car and get our luggage. When we came back in they had given our ready room away, twice. When I went back to ask why? the front desk responded I didn’t know you were waiting. I continued waiting when another guest came in and the front desk was going to give our room to them. Another worker finally took care of us and gave us another room. This ruined our trip and we checked out the next morning. We will never stay here again. They do not tell you about valet only parking or the two resort fees. The only plus about this hotel was Johnny the valet. He was so pleasant and helpful
