This comfortable hotel has been operated by the same family for generations. Offered are expansive public areas and a nice variety of room types. When we checked in at midnight we asked for a room close by. We were given a room totally at the end of the hall and we carried our bags down to it being tired from traveling from mississippi to albany ny. Also when we got in albany airport Desmond hotel was supposed to come pick us up but had given us a cardwith no correct phone number to answer at the hotel so we were forced to take a cab at our expense.
