The room smelled of tobacco, the air conditioner was not on when we arrived, the remote control to the television was defective and only one chair on the balcony. The clerk at the desk listened to our concerns but did not apologize.

AAA, please reassess your partner hotels/motels. Entire room was disgustingly stained and filthy. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Directed to park in back and use rear stairs. Couldn’t use first step because wood had rotted out. Sad, horrible really, to see what has happened to the motels in Mackinaw. 50 years of visiting Mackinaw City. No desire to stay there or visit any time soon.
