The on-site bar features live-edge tables made from a magnolia tree that was on the site of the hotel. Seating for the bar spills out onto a patio with fire pits. Great staff! Beautiful large rooms!
I completely enjoyed my stay here. Although it was only one (1) night, my experience was exceptional. In particular, the Front Desk staff was exceptional. The location was optimal for what I was there in Morganton for, ample parking, clean room and breakfast. Now, the Front Desk Staff was sooooo good, although I was going to leave before breakfast was served, she was prepared to serve me something before I checked out. I was impressed and thankful for the offer and dedication to providing stellar customer service. My ONLY issue is the long strands of hair I found in the bathroom. It's possible the Housekeeping staff person has long black hair and that is the reason why strands of hair was in the bathroom. But this, although minor, was the only blemish.
